Venue Type: Science Education Centre.
Description: A brilliant venue with interactive displays, kinaesthetic activities and all-round educational stimulation. This place kept our four year old and 2 year old enthralled for an hour and a half…
Kids can swing off geological bilge pumps, throw golf balls down portals to demonsrate the physics of a black hole and pull levers to compare the viscosity of different fluids…all good stuff!
From April 2014 (until ???) there is a fantastic exhibit called “Playing with Light”. Our kids didn’t want to leave; They could build telescopes, “paint” in projected colour, run through a laser obstacle course, use a photosensitive wall, “mix” light displays…etc…all amazing things for little people.
The complex also has an outdoor playground, restaurant, skate park, fish-feeding pond, miniature village, pedal car race track and more…
